We share space with a LensCrafters, but we don’t sell frames ourselves. Our doctors and staff have no reason to steer you toward a product you don’t need.
We also direct bill the insurance companies listed on our Insurance page. You show up for your appointment, and we handle the paperwork.

Our doctors use a range of diagnostic equipment. Here are three examples. You can see all of it on the Our Technology page.
Optomap Retinal Imaging
The Optomap retinal camera gives our doctors a wide, detailed view of the retina, helping catch early signs of eye disease that a standard exam can miss. An Optomap image is included in every adult comprehensive exam and in our senior exam. For children, we recommend it as an optional add-on.
OCT Scanning
Optical coherence tomography, OCT, scans the layers of your retina, so we can monitor changes over time, not just react to symptoms once they appear.
Tono-Vera Eye Pressure Testing
We have three tonometers to check eye pressure. For glaucoma testing we use the Tono-Vera or a Goldmann tonometer. The Tono-Vera does not use an air puff.

Meet Your Eye Doctors at Core Eye Care
Dr. Cynthia Du, OD, is the optometrist who opened Core Eye Care in 2016. She wanted a place where patients and staff were treated well, not rushed. She focuses on dry eye and myopia control. She has dry eye herself, so she knows what patients mean when they describe it.
Dr. Alyshah Hassam, OD, is the second optometrist at Core Eye Care. She focuses on myopia control, ocular disease and dry eye. She fits her advice to each patient’s lifestyle.
